Hi. I’m Melissa, and my journey to The Honeycomb is a tale of friendship, perseverance, and passion. Eighteen years ago, I began teaching preschool classes at a Playspace that was owned by a savvy and kind gal, Janine, who I now call my best friend; a moment that would eventually spark our shared dream. My life has been a bit of an adventure, moving back and forth between New Hampshire and Kentucky, never quite finding my perfect landing spot.
But now, finally settled in the Seacoast region, we’ve decided it’s time to turn our long-held vision into reality.
At Honeycomb, we’re all about creating opportunities for:
• Playful Learning: We believe kids learn best when they’re having fun!
• Family Bonding: Whether it’s during classes, events, or free play, we want families to leave with smiles and stories to share.
• Parent Support: Parenting is hard work! We’ve designed Honeycomb to be a haven where parents can relax, recharge, and connect with others who “get it.”
We’re not just moms with big dreams—we’re childcare professionals with years of hands-on experience. We are entrepreneurs. We are besties. We are exhausted. We are excited! From our background in child development to our passion for education, everything we do at The Honeycomb is thoughtfully designed to support children’s growth while keeping things fun and engaging.
